As the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will work closely with the CEO to drive both financial and strategic initiatives — from negotiating and securing funding from mid-to-late-stage investors (VCs and corporate investors) to designing and executing long-term growth and financial strategies.
You will play a pivotal role in maximizing enterprise value and building a sustainable financial foundation as a core member of the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
・Lead negotiations and fundraising with mid- to late-stage investors (VCs and strategic partners)
・Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s mid- to long-term vision
・Manage budgeting, financial planning, KPI design, and performance management (FP&A)
・Establish and oversee financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and governance frameworks
・Collaborate with the CEO and Head of Corporate Division to advance growth and exit strategies (IPO, M&A, etc.)
・Provide data-driven financial insights to support executive decision-making
・Manage cash flow optimization, capital policy design, and execution
Essential skill
Required Qualifications
・Experience in developing and executing business portfolio strategies
・Experience in formulating business plans derived from company-wide strategy
Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following areas:
・Management experience as a CFO or in an equivalent finance/accounting leadership
position within a startup or venture company
・Practical experience in a financial institution such as an investment bank, private equity fund, or securities firm
・Experience in executive management, such as business unit head or board director
・Standard PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferential skills
・Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) or corporate planning and financial analysis
・Business-level English proficiency (for negotiations and IR communications with overseas investors)
・Background in investment banking, global financial institutions, or corporate finance
・Experience in capital raising or disclosure for IPO preparation or at listed companies
・Practical experience in capital policy, equity and debt financing
・Knowledge and experience in financial modeling and valuation
・Qualified CPA or equivalent advanced accounting knowledge (e.g., Japan Bookkeeping Level 1 certification)

Annual Salary: Up to ¥20,000,000 (negotiable based on experience and capabilities)
