Accountant (Manager Candidate)
In this position, you will take the lead across a wide range of accounting responsibilities — from hands-on accounting operations and team management to IPO preparation.
As our company continues to grow through the startup phase, you will not only operate existing systems but also take an active role in designing new rules and building financial structures that align with the next stage of growth.

・Lead and execute annual closing operations as the primary accounting manager
・Prepare and file various tax returns (corporate tax, consumption tax, etc.)
・Support management accounting (budget vs. actual analysis, cost management, and reporting to executives)
・Handle internal controls, audits, and external reviews (including coordination with audit firms and tax authorities for IPO preparation)
・Manage and develop team members while also handling hands-on operational tasks as an active player in our small, agile organization
Essential skill
・3–5 years of practical experience in accounting or finance
Able to independently perform daily accounting operations including journal entries, monthly and annual closing tasks
・Broader business mindset — interested not only in accounting operations but also in understanding people, organization, and management perspectives
・Strong communication skills to collaborate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders, including management, auditors, and tax advisors
・Highly detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work with both speed and integrity when dealing with numerical data
Preferential skills
・Experience in accounting or disclosure operations related to IPO preparation or listed companies
・Experience in handling accounting audits or tax investigations
・Experience preparing financial reports and materials to support management decision-making
・Involvement in budgeting or fundraising operations
・Team management experience, including staff development and task supervision
・Accounting support experience in M&A or new business initiatives
・Experience in accelerating monthly/annual closing or improving workflow efficiency
・Experience in implementing accounting systems or operational tools (e.g., freee, Money Forward, Yayoi)
・Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements
・Advanced accounting knowledge such as Level 1 Bookkeeping Certification or partial CPA exam completion
・Experience in process improvement and system building at startups or venture companies
・(Preferred) Experience handling accounting processes or email correspondence in English for overseas transactions

Salary
Structure: Fixed monthly salary + Bonus (paid twice a year, based on performance evaluation)
Monthly Salary: ¥420,000 – ¥580,000
Includes 30 hours of fixed overtime pay (¥79,000 – ¥109,100)
Negotiable depending on experience and ability
Expected Annual Income: ¥5,000,000 – ¥8,000,000
